Best Computer for Gaming

I want to build a decent enough gaming computer. What will I need to make sure I have? What kind of graphics card, RAM, sound card etc. Any good websites I can research on? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I want to buy a gaming computer that can handle any game in great quality, and that will be able to play games in the future on atleast okay quality. It needs to last for atleast 3 years.

For a graphics card: ATI HD 5850 1GB 2xDVI, will this be good enough?
For a Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3,2GHz AM3 is this good enough?
